The JCMG Laser and Vein Center opened its Edgewood facility in October of 2007. Owner and Medical Director Dr. Chandra Prasad had been treating patients with varicose vein disease since his arrival in Jefferson City in 1996. He felt many of these patients would benefit from the latest developments in varicose vein care. Rather than add this service to his already busy surgical office he chose to create a destination center for varicose vein therapy. The center also offers other aesthetic services designed to enhance the client’s appearance. In June of 2008 Dr. Stephanie Hose joined as Medical Director of the Skin Care Division.

The clinic was designed specifically for the type of procedures being offered. When you come to the Laser and Vein Center our goal is that you will feel relaxed and pampered. We have created a spa-like atmosphere yet maintain the highest level of safety and health standards. The clinic voluntarily sought accreditation by the Accreditation Association of Ambulatory Health Care. This requires us to measure the quality of our services and performance against nationally recognized standards.

Our treating personnel not only meet but exceed all training requirements for the services they provide. Each of our clinicians has been educated in the medical field and has an understanding of the pathophysiology of what they do.
