The Triniti skin series is designed for the client desiring to diminish the visible signs of aging. The treatment will address redness, age spots, wrinkles and sagging skin. In order to have a successful treatment outcome the client MUST be willing to avoid sun prior to, during and one month after the treatment. There are a variety of medical conditions and medications that are contraindicated for this treatment. Some include uncontrolled diabetes, use of a pacemaker, and use of anticoagulants or medications known to induce photosensitivity. This treatment is also contraindicated for anyone who is pregnant or nursing. At your initial appointment, a full medical history will be taken by our skin care specialist to ensure this is a safe treatment for you.
The Triniti series is a combination of three facial rejuvenation treatments. Each session consists of a color correction, wrinkle reduction and skin tightening procedure. The series is based on elōs technology. This stands for electro-optical synergy. The electro represents the bi-polar radio frequency energy and the optical represents the laser or pulsed light energy. Both energies are emitted to the skin from a chilled applicator. The synergy between the two energies allows for a safer and more effective treatment. At the same time, the epidermis is chilled by the cool applicator tip and its impedance, or resistance to heat, rises. This results in enhanced safety to the epidermis or outer layer of skin.
What does this mean for you? Collagen fibers will go through structural changes that will reduce wrinkling and sagging, vascular and pigmented lesions will fade, and fine lines will soften.
When undergoing treatments such as the Triniti we consider you a partner in achieving successful results. It is critical that you give a full and accurate medical history as well as a list of medications including over the counter and vitamin and herbal remedies. In some cases this will mean we need to find a treatment better suited to your situation. It can also mean that there are certain actions we need to take to ensure safety or improve results, such as temporarily stopping medications that cause photosensitivity. Secondly we cannot stress enough the need to avoid sun exposure, including tanning booths and artificial tans. If you are tan prior to your treatment it will be more difficult to achieve good results.
Your appointment will start with the cleansing of the area being treated. You will be given protective eyewear that you will wear throughout your treatment. Gel will then be applied. During the treatment you will feel a cooling sensation as the applicator is applied to your skin. You will then feel either a progressive heating sensation or a hot pinch sensation depending on which portion of the treatment you are receiving. You may experience slight discomfort, but it should not be painful.
The Triniti series is designed to be completed within three to five sessions spaced one month apart.
Some redness and swelling can be expected after your treatment. You may want to use cold compresses to help reduce these symptoms. Avoid the use of abrasive or harsh products and excessive heat for at least two days. If superficial crusting should occur do not rub or scratch the area. It is very important that you use a broad spectrum, high factor sunscreen and protect the area from sunlight for at least one month. Tanning after your treatment may contribute to increased hyperpigmentation.
No treatment will permanently stop the aging process. The Triniti Skin Series is designed for the client looking for a no-downtime, pain-free, convenient, non-surgical facial renewal treatment. It will lessen the signs of aging, but it will not halt them. If you practice good skin care, avoid sun exposure and avoid smoking you can, however, slow the process. For optimal results, a touch up treatment will be needed on average every six months. How often you need a touch up treatment will depend on how well you take care of your skin post treatment!
